Caravanning offers us the freedom to explore new places, often in absolute comfort with the modern conveniences in today’s vans. For many, packing the caravan and setting off on that long-awaited trip is a break from the day-to-day stresses of life; something we all look forward to. Until you hit a mechanical issue, that is. You had 4 days to make the most of it, and now your caravan or motorhome is being loaded onto a tilt tray, and you’re telling the kids it’ll be way more fun to have to camp in the backyard at home in swags. We know what you’re thinking; it’s not always THAT extreme. And you’d be right, it’s usually not. But the little things can break your trip too. Something isn’t right with the 12v batteries, and now you’re all sleeping in a 45-degree hot box with no air conditioning. The hot water is playing up. The Police officer who just stopped you has taken a keen interest in why you have a broken tail-light, and now he’s escalated to looking at your suspension mounts. The list goes on.
